The Makita GA028G XGT 40Vmax BL Paddle Switch Grinder is ideal for high demand industrial applications, excellent in continuous heavy-duty work. Its brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the brushless motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life. A soft start feature suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life.

The anti-restart function has been engineered to prevent motor start up when battery is inserted with switch locked on. Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) turns the motor off if rotation speed suddenly slows or wheel is forced to stop. An electric brake provides for maximum productivity.

XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) provides improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions. The battery protection circuit protects against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating. Compatible with the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), connects to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth®. The dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on.
